Kindred Healthcare Center of Orange Named Recipient of AHCA Quality Award

Kindred Healthcare Center of Orange, a 2006 recipient of the American Health Care Association Step I Quality Award and a 2007 recipient of the AHCA Step II Quality Award, has continued its history of high quality service. Kindred Healthcare Center of Orange is a 2008 recipient of the AHCA Step II Quality Award. 

Step II applicants are assessed on their ability to apply the core values and concepts of quality. The core values and concepts are adapted to long-term care from the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria for performance excellence. This year, Kindred Healthcare Center of Orange is the only Step II recipient in California.

The AHCA award recognizes commitment to a continuous quality improvement process. The facilities selected have made customer satisfaction and quality outcomes their top priority.

 

Kindred Healthcare Center of Orange Named Recipient of Excellence in Action Award

My InnerView's Excellence In Action award honors those nursing homes that achieve high levels of excellence in overall facility quality as demonstrated through receiving an AHCA Quality Award or by having overall resident and family satisfaction levels fall within the top 10% of My InnerView's customer database. As a recipient of the award, these facilities join the elite ranks of only 380 nursing homes that received the award in 2007.

To be eligible for the award, nursing facilities must be a member of My InnerView and participate in at least one survey cycle of residents and families throughout the year.
